Course DEscription
Students explore the world of geography through hands-on activities, experiments, and demonstrations. Focusing on fundamental geography concept, the class leads children to explore topics related to maps, land formations, bodies of water, weather, and climate. Examples of typical activities include, but are not limited to, mapping your neighborhood, to making an earthquake in a box, creating a solar water heater, and building a model of a dam, creating a giant compass rose, making a balloon globe, and stirring up a tornado in a jar.

Required Textbook: NONE, however, there are two we recommend; select Around the World Coloring Book for younger children and The Geography Coloring Book for older children.

Required Materials: Students will need a notebook, pencils, colored pencils for class.
