Course DEscription
This goal of this course is to make science both relevant and fun to the student. By completing a hands-on, research-based, science project, students do science the way "professional researches do" using the scientific method, their creativity, and ingenuity. This course guides the student through the steps necessary, from conception to presentation, of a science fair project. Students will research topics, form hypotheses, design and conduct experiments, record observations, and present their conclusions to a panel of judges.
Students will also perform a few fun experiments during the class to learn how to "do science" with the scientific method.
